CELEBRATION OF FRENCH HERITAGE SUNDAY, NOV. 4
The diversity of Louisiana's French language, heritage and culture will be on full display with music, dancing, singing and film. Join us for Cajun and Zydeco dance lessons, a presentation of native American French folkways, or a sing-a-long in French . This celebration culminates our year-long exhibit on CODOFIL, the organization founded 50 years ago to preserve the French language. Come be part of the noisy parade or "Tintamarre" to celebrate speaking loud and proud a language that has stood the test of time. This program is free and open to the general public.
